Since 1940, Automator has been a name that resonates in the universe of industrial marking.

A journey that began with the far-sighted vision of Maurizio Barcilon, who transformed marking from a simple obligation to a valuable opportunity to identify, qualify, trace and promote any product.

In 1979, the legacy passed into the hands of Jaime Barcilon, who with tenacity and innovation confirmed the company's mission: to design, build and market state-of-the-art marking solutions. Under his leadership, Automator consolidates its leadership in the industry, expanding its product range and constantly investing in research and development.

The pride of Made in Italy, a distinctive element of Automator, translates into production entirely made on Italian soil. Each machine is meticulously assembled with the best materials and components, ensuring maximum reliability and precision over time.

In the founding year, we start with beat marking, the oldest, which is still used today in workshops and production lines

1940

The foundation

Automator grows and expands its customer base, specializing more and more in the various applications of industrial marking: roll marking, also manual, was born to mark cylinders and circumferences.

1950

The rolling marking

Hot and press etching techniques, which are also non-computerized, make their entrance.

1960 - 1970

Hot stamping and press engraving

An important breakthrough, introduction of microdot marking, computerized technology.An innovative breakthrough, with the market launch of the first laser machines, naturally computerized: we start by introducing the Yag source, and then, within a short period of time, offer every laser technology: YVO4, UV, Intra, CO2, Green. All sources are offered in different powers.

1980 - 1990

Microdot marking

We invent a new laser technology, aWaveTM, with self-adjustment of marking frequency. A real and great innovation: this is a new laser concept, very high performance but also very economical, due to the substantial economies of scale allowed by the wider range of use, being able to mark with performance from 1W up to 40W. We are beginning to manufacture and distribute smear marking machines.

2000

aWaveTM

Automator consolidates its global presence and launches new laser technologies such as MOPAs, green sources for cold marking, and new proprietary software.
